Limelight Of The Show
Audi
The sophisticated all electric supercar was first launched at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and made its second appearance at the Paris Motor Show.

The PB18 E-tron driver’s seat and the cockpit can be slid laterally as they are integrated into a monocoque shell internally, meaning the driver can shift the position to the centre as in a monoposto. Made with carbon, aluminium and other mixed materials the weight of PB18 is anticipated to be ~1.5 ton.
DS
X E-tense is a 2035 aspired electric concept that has an asymmetric body with three seats. The car’s body is crafted with the latest technology that enables to recuperate to its original form after an impact.

The vehicle produces 400kW for road use and 1000kW in circuit mode for an exquisite performance. DS Performance (DS’s Formula E technical team) designed and built the suspension that delivers unrivalled driving.
Mercedes
Mercedes uncovered the Vision EQ Silver Arrow show car the Mondial de l’Auto which is a homage to the record-breaking W125 Grand Prix racing car of 1937. The single-seater meant for straight line acceleration will not go into production, but design chief Gorden Wagener mentioned that the concept would be helpful to exemplify Mercedes’s vision.

Renault
At the home motor show, Renault showcased EZ Ultimo an autonomous electric vehicle. The a.k.a robo-vehicle concept offers a premium comprehensive onboard experience with level 4 autonomy.

The awe-inspiring Augmented Editorial Experience (AEX) turns travel time into a tailored learning experience combining multimedia, customised premium content and mobility. The company aims to provide world-class experience in city by offering private trips and premium tourist experience.
Peugeot
The Classic 504 Coupe inspired Peugeot’s E-Legend autonomous electric coupe was unveiled in Paris. The prototype is designed to showcase future technologies and level four autonomous driving.

The all-wheel-drive vehicle is powered with 100kWh batteries and electric motors that can whoosh 0-62mph less than 4 seconds. However, the company hasn’t planned to sail it to production line until the electrification process is fully up.
Smart
The Daimler owned brand Smart forease was revealed at the Paris motor show. The urban concept car is a two-seater fully electric roadster. By 2020, Smart plans to make all its models fully electric in the US, Canada and Europe. The company hasn’t revealed any technical details of the car, but we see it as a tweaked version of EQ fortwo electric model.
